Aurelia Plukė

Aurelija is the founder of "Grybų pasaulis" (Mushroom World), an educator, blogger, amateur mycologist, and the creator and host of the only television show about mushrooms, "Jei ne grybai" (If Not for Mushrooms), as well as an ambassador for the "Sengirė" Foundation. Aurelija is also the founder of "Your Daily Fungi," a brand of functional mushroom products. She founded "Grybų pasaulis" driven by curiosity about mushrooms, which, though they surround us daily, remain largely unknown.

"Grybupasaulis.lt was born out of my love for nature and a desire to understand the world that lies beyond what one perceives at first glance. Mushrooms became not only a delicious find in the forest for me but also an opportunity to look anew at the nature around us and the ecosystems within it, intricately linked by complex interdependencies. By photographing, exploring, and sharing my discoveries, I aim to inspire others to get to know this mysterious world. Mushrooms are already used in various industries today, and their potential is enormous. My goal is to spread mushroom spores and help open the doors to this extraordinary, all-encompassing world."

  • Sengire Foundation

We operate with the understanding that we are part of nature and every choice we make affects the ecosystems around us. We donate a portion of our proceeds to the Sengirė Fund, contributing to the preservation of Lithuania's ancient forests.
